Every year several competition are organized for student gymnasts in the Netherlands. These competitions are organized by affiliated student gymnastics associations.
The global layout of a competition day is as follows:
09.00 – 19.00 Competition
18.00 – 20.00 Dinner
21.00 – 03.00 Party
03.00 – 09.00 Sleeping
09.00 – 10.00 Breakfast
NSTC – Dutch Student Gymnastics competition
The NSTCs are organized under the banner of the NSTB for all members of affiliated associations. More information on competition participation can be found in the participation rules. There are three to four different NSTCs per year. All Olympic all-around appatusses are competed on. For the men these are: bridge, high bar, rings, floor, vault and pommel horse. For the ladies these are: vault, beam, bridge, and floor. Special rules for students apply at these competitions. All NSTCs have their own interpretation:
- NSTC1 – Apparatus competition
- NSTC2 – All-round competition
- NSTC Springen – Individual & Group jumping and Trampoline
- NSTC Teams – Teams competition
NSK Gymnastics – All-round
The NSK (Dutch Students Championship) Gymnastics is a sports competition organized by the auspices of Studenten Sport Nederlands (SSN). This ‘official’ students gymnastics competition is held once a year. The all-round competition is open for all dutch student gymnasts. You can find an atmospheric impression here!
